2. Your statutory rights (Australia)
If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to certain guarantees. Our goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for any disclosed purpose, match their description, and match any sample or demonstration model. If they do not meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund depending on the failure). This Return Policy does not limit or replace your rights under the ACL or other applicable Australian law. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude those rights.
3. Change of mind (voluntary returns)
If you simply change your mind about a purchase, we offer a 14-day return period from the date you receive the goods, subject to the following conditions:
- The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging (with seals intact where applicable). We may refuse returns where the product has been opened, used, or damaged after delivery.
- You must notify us of your intention to return within 14 days of receipt. You can do so by email to the address above, including your order number and the reason for the return.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us unless we have agreed otherwise or the product was faulty or not as described. We recommend using a trackable delivery method and keeping proof of postage.
- Once we receive the returned product and have verified that it meets the conditions above, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 14 days. Refunds may take additional time to appear depending on your bank or card issuer.
We do not offer exchanges for change of mind; if you wish to order a different product, you may return the original (if eligible) and place a new order.
4. Faulty or not as described
If the product is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or does not match its description (and the failure is not due to misuse or normal wear and tear), you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us with your order number and a description of the issue (and, if possible, photos). We may ask you to return the product for inspection. Depending on the nature of the failure, we will:
- offer a repair, replacement, or refund (as appropriate and in line with the ACL);
- reimburse reasonable return postage costs where the product is confirmed to be faulty or not as described.
We will not unreasonably refuse a valid claim. If we disagree that the product is faulty or not as described, we will explain our reasons and, where applicable, you may pursue your rights through the relevant consumer authority or dispute resolution body.
5. Damaged or missing items
If your order arrives damaged or items are missing, please contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 48 hours of delivery) with your order number and, for damage, photos of the packaging and product. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. In some cases we may ask you to retain the packaging for inspection or to assist with a claim against the carrier.
6. Non-returnable items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of products that have been opened, used, or where the seal or packaging has been broken, unless the product is faulty or not as described. Perishable goods and products that have been customised or made to order may also be non-returnable; we will inform you before you purchase if this applies.
7. How to return
To start a return:
- Contact us by email at team@quarrionchivreal.world with your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason (change of mind, fault, damage, or other).
- We will confirm whether the return is accepted and, if so, provide you with return instructions and our return address (120 Queen St, Brisbane City QLD 4000, Australia, unless we specify a different address).
- Pack the product securely in its original packaging (or equivalent) and send it to the address we provide. For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return postage unless we have agreed otherwise.
- Keep your proof of postage. We are not responsible for items lost in transit until they are received at our address.
- Once we receive and inspect the product, we will notify you of the outcome and process any refund or replacement in accordance with this policy and the law.
8. Refunds
Refunds will be made to the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless we agree otherwise. We will process the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned product (for change-of-mind returns) or within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to a refund (for faulty or not-as-described products). The time for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your financial institution. We do not refund original shipping costs for change-of-mind returns unless required by law; we may refund shipping where the product was faulty, not as described, or where we have agreed to do so.
9. International orders
If you are located outside Australia, return and refund arrangements may differ (e.g. return shipping costs and timeframes). Please contact us before returning any product so we can confirm the process and any customs or shipping requirements. Your statutory rights in your country of residence remain unaffected where applicable.
10. Complaints and disputes
We aim to resolve all return and refund requests fairly and in accordance with this policy and the law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the relevant consumer protection authority. In Australia, you can contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or your state or territory consumer affairs agency for guidance.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Return Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised. Changes will apply to orders placed after the update unless otherwise required by law. For existing orders, the version of the policy in effect at the time of your order will apply to that order, except where we make changes that are more favourable to you.
